Less than a month after teammate Mikel Leshoure was arrested after trying to eat a bag of marijuana during a traffic stop, Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley was charged with second-degree marijuana possession charge on Tuesday afternoon in Mobile, Ala.

Police received several complaints of a Cadillac Escalade speeding through in a Mobile neighborhood on Tuesday afternoon. Police stopped the car, which Fairley was driving, and detected a strong smell of marijuana inside the car and found a small amount in the ashtray, according to reports.

At least he did’t try to eat it like Leshoure, but he also failed to learn from example.  So far both 2011 draft-picks have contributed little on-field due to injury.    At least their both contributing off-field to media headlines.
